What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Electrician position at honeywell?
Hours: 7am - 7pm (Days) AND 7pm - 7am (Nights)
You'll work 12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights in a pattern like 4 days on, 3 days off.
Use your knowledge of mechanical or electrical skills to help Honeywell Colonial Heights to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our facilities and customers. You will work under immediate supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented resources. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of high strength synthetic fiber by, maintaining production equipment. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of the site's commitment to the organization and its customers.
Key Responsibilities
· Install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment
· Perform routine multi-craft maintenance task
· Review drawings and schematics
· Perform equipment/system troubleshooting
· Perform equipment calibrations
· Perform equipment zero energy isolation (Lock Out Tag Out)
· Perform preventative maintenance inspections
· Determine root cause failure of equipment
· Prepare and update equipment records
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure maximum manufacturing uptime
· Maintain work area

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
