Material Handler - Level 2
As a Material Handler - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our Advanced Materials business unit. You will be responsible for the efficient and accurate movement of materials within our facility in Tempe, Arizona. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure that our production processes run smoothly and that our customers receive their orders on time.
You will report directly to our Materials Manager and you'll work out of our Tempe, Arizona location on a work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on our operations by ensuring the proper handling, storage, and distribution of materials. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and maintain inventory accuracy. Your ability to operate material handling equipment and follow standard operating procedures will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials within the facility
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices
• Accurately record and update inventory transactions in the system
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment
• Perform cycle counts and participate in physical inventory counts
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
