As a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice-HVAC here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in mechanical fitting and assembly. You will work alongside experienced Journeymen to gain hands-on experience in assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components. This apprenticeship program will provide you with the necessary training and guidance to kickstart your career in the field of mechanical systems.
**This is a full-time apprenticeship program that combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction to provide you with a well-rounded learning experience.
You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor, and work out of our Aerospace facility in Phoenix, Arizona. The Mechanical Systems team within Honeywell Building Automation is dedicated to advancing technology and driving excellence in key areas such as industrial HVAC and Heating systems and components.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and apply mechanical fitting techniques to assemble and install mechanical systems and components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand and power tools to perform mechanical assembly tasks
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Physical ability to lift up-to 50lbs at times
- Must reside near the following site, ie, within 30-50 miles: 21111 N. 19th Ave (Deer Valley), Phoenix, AZ
- Shift: 8:00a – 5:00p Arizona
- Must be available for on-call rotation
- Company vehicle will be provided to travel to customer sites
