Honeywell is seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical systems used in production.
You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure the efficient operation of our equipment and the timely completion of projects.
This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to develop your skills and grow within our organization.
As a key member of our team, you will report directly to our Tool and Die Manager and work out of our Freeport, IL location.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and repairing mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with machinery to minimize downtime
- Assisting in the design and fabrication of new mechanical systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve production processes and efficiency
- FOLLOWING safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area
