Sr. HSE Management Systems Engineer
As a Senior HSE Management Systems Engineer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems within our Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business unit. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement in HSE performance.
You will report directly to the Sr HSE Manager and be based at one of our ESS locations in the U.S. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode after 90 days.
This position offers a high-impact opportunity to develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategies, enhance HSE management systems, and foster a strong culture of safety and environmental responsibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders to help position Honeywell as an accountable and sustainable organization.
Additionally, you will lead digitization efforts for HSE management systems, ensuring seamless administration of global, digital enterprise tools for compliance, governance, and data visualization. Your expertise will support HSE users globally across the U.S., EMEA, and APAC regions, providing technical assistance and driving performance improvements in platforms such as Intelex, SharePoint, Tableau, PowerApps, Learning Hub, and Viva Engage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies aligned with organizational goals to promote a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
- Manage and maintain HSE management systems, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, permits, and certifications.
- Administrate global digital enterprise tools to support HSE Management Systems, Compliance, Governance, and Data Visualization.
- Act as the key contact for HSE users regarding performance in the management system, providing technical support for platforms such as Intelex, SharePoint, Tableau, PowerApps, Learning Hub, and Viva Engage across the U.S., EMEA, and APAC regions.
- Lead digitization efforts focused on:
- Inspections using PowerApps
- Automating data flows for water quality and air emissions
- Developing waste management solutions
- Ensure compliance with HSE objectives by creating and automating reports in Intelex and dashboards in Tableau and Power BI, and other appropriate tools.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of HSE performance.
- Serve as an Internal Auditor for RC14001 Corporate Register.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into business processes and decision-making.
- Design and deliver HSE training programs to enhance employee awareness and engagement in safety and environmental initiatives.
- Stay current with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and proactively enhance safety measures.
Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range for this position is $89k-$112k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
