Establish and drive procurement of material for the Major Projects and Services across the Americas HBS Business, aligning with business Leadership for your assigned commodity/category and/or region as per the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan. You will have Category/Commodity responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve the lowest Total Cost, reduced Working capital via Negotiation planning and execution, High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination. You will manage Supplier Performance to support your commodity/category and/or region and ensure supply continuity. You will be managing multiple projects in a dynamic global environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures and export/Import regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plans with supporting strategies
- Total Ownership for driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring productivity (savings) goals are met
- Right and Fast execution of strategies to align with business Growth and New Product Introductions
- Manage Category and Commodity Strategies including spend analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysis and Global Technology / Economic trends around Major Projects
- Find, onboard and build new Relationships with key Suppliers and Subcontractor Leadership
- Build a world-class workforce that creates competitive advantage by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent
- Align with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance and Quality and Other Honeywell Businesses
- Manage and comply to sourcing processes and performance through an effective management operating system
- Manage Organizational Effectiveness through efficiency improvement and functional transformation
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 years experience in procurement for large projects

- Significant experience in procurement
- Multi Country Leadership experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business
- Demonstrated Business and financial acumen
- Experience with SAP, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools
- Experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic global environment
