Lead
As a Shipping/Receiving Specialist Lead here at Honeywell, you will be
responsible for overseeing and coordinating the shipping and receiving
operations at our Dayton, OH location. You will play a crucial role in ensuring
the efficient flow of goods and materials within our supply chain network. Your
leadership and expertise will contribute to maintaining a seamless flow of
products, meeting customer expectations, and enhancing overall supply chain
efficiency.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on the success of our supply chain
operations. You will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving
team, coordinating transportation methods, optimizing warehouse space, and
ensuring timely deliveries. Your attention to detail and ability to adapt to
changing demands will be essential in maintaining the highest level of customer
satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and coordinate shipping and
receiving operations, including loading and unloading of trucks, verifying
incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization
and implement efficient storage and organization methods.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with
safety and security regulations in the shipping/receiving area.
• Identify areas for process
improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Utilize inventory management systems
to track and manage inventory levels.
• Resolve any shipping/receiving
discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
