Sr Advanced Certification Engineer
As a Sr. Advanced Certification Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance and certification of aerospace products in the Aerospace (AERO) business unit. Your expertise in certification processes, regulatory requirements, and technical knowledge will be essential in obtaining and maintaining the necessary certifications for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, regulatory authorities, and customers to ensure that our products meet the highest safety and quality standards.
You will report directly to our Certification Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a hybrid work schedule. Other available locations include Phoenix, AZ and Clearwater, FL.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve certification documents and processes for software, systems, and hardware qualifications in compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance for systems, qualification, and software development.
- Support Continued Operational Safety (COS) initiatives by coordinating with various stakeholders, including COEs, ISC, ODA, and OEMs.
- Perform and support audits to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Drive the deployment of new airworthiness regulations and address systemic certification issues.
- Strengthen and maintain relationships with national and international Certification Authorities and participate in industry regulatory committees.
- Contribute to the Product Assurance Airworthiness & Certification (PAAC) Management Operating System initiatives.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $162,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
