The annual base salary range for this position is $122,000 - $144,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Research and advance thermal management technologies for data centers, focusing on single-phase and two-phase direct-to-chip and immersion cooling systems.
• Design, source, build, and operate testbeds and proof-of-concept systems, analyzing thermal and computational performance with a deep understanding of underlying physics.
• Serve as the local expert in evaluating material compatibility, thermal performance, and electrical/computational performance criteria.
• Work closely with R&D teams to develop new materials for data center cooling, measure discrete material properties (e.g., dielectric constant, material compatibility), and analyze data to identify performance-critical factors.
• Conduct simulations, thermal-mechanical analysis, CFD modeling, and statistical Design of Experiments to optimize system performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive novel cooling technologies, ensure high scientific rigor, and deliver solutions with industry-leading performance.
