As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will be part of a team that designs, develops & integrates cutting-edge Next Generation Avionics (NGA) solutions across various aircraft platforms. In this role, you will play an important role in the development and implementation of Integrated Avionics and Simulation technologies.
As part of the Next-Generation Avionics (NGA) group, you will work across Integrated Avionics Product Team disciplines and our Flight Simulation group that manages the implementation of simulation technologies, its customers, end users and suppliers. Our Flight Simulation group drives simulation solutions for Flight Management System (FMS), Displays, Communication & Navigation Systems (CNS), TAWS, EGPWS, among other integrated Avionics products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Systems, Hardware, and Software Engineering to design, develop and integrate Avionics simulation solutions for NGA (Next Generation Avionics) programs
- Interface with internal Flight Simulation, Integrated Avionics product teams and customers to implement real-time simulation technologies.
- Provide expertise and guidance to facilitate the successful execution of avionics programs
- Collaborate with Hardware and Software teams that develop cockpit simulation tools, avionics software integration & testing, and communications technologies for display hardware and flight training solutions.
- Support internal and external customers providing full flight simulations for next generation avionics products
- Manage project timelines and customer commitments
