As a Sr Advanced Test Systems (STE) Engineer here at Honeywell Space Engineering, you will play a key role on a team that designs, develops, integrates and maintains highly complex test consoles (STE) used for testing Control Moment Gyroscopes (CMGs) and Reaction Wheel Assemblies (RWAs). You will be integral in creating solutions that meet the evolving needs of our products
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior STE Engineer you will be instrumental in designing, developing, integrating and utilizing innovative Special Test Equipment (STE) tailored for testing advanced Space Solutions.
- Electronics:
- Design digital and analog signal conditioning circuits
- Select COTs hardware to be utilized in test consoles
- Complete drawings to document design of test consoles
- Support build of test consoles
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
- Work with electrical technicians supporting test consoles
- Software:
- Write LabView code to automate test consoles
- Release LabView code in configuration management
- Troubleshoot software issues
- Work software improvement actions
- LabView Integration
