As a Sr Electronics Engineering Technician, use your knowledge of electronic engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell Integrated Flight Deck Systems group deliver innovative aircraft electronic solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under immediate supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented technicians and engineers developing Honeywell's next generation of Avionics products through testing and validating products from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Product Engineers and other Electronics Technicians in troubleshooting faulty avionics hardware
- Perform verification testing of avionics products using existing test documents and common electronic laboratory equipment
- Assist Product Engineers in the execution of environmental and EMI Qualification testing
- Perform testing of Avionics systems modules for Root-Cause determination
- Fabricate breadboard and prototype electronic devices, including loading configuration data into programmable logic devices
- Interface with Equipment Maintenance personnel to ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated
- End-Item acceptance testing using Vector and CATE test stations
- Ensure electronic test fixtures are in operable condition (cables, connectors, markings, etc.) and properly stored
