As a Senior HSE Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for overseeing and directing the organization's health, safety, and environmental engineering efforts. You will ensure the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in engineering-related safety.
You will report directly to our HSE Manager and work out of our Broomfield, CO location. This is an 100% onsite role.
Relocation support may be provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility
- Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications
- Stay updated on changing regulations and industry best practices.
• Develop and implement proactive safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses in the workplace - Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, providing engineering solutions and preventive measures
- Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents, including accidents and environmental emergencies
- Develop and manage the HSE budget, allocate resources, and seek cost-effective solutions to maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental protection
- Promote environmental sustainability by implementing eco-friendly practices and minimizing the environmental impact of the organization's operations
- Leverage advanced technology solutions to enhance safety and environmental monitoring, reporting, and incident response
- Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE matters
- Travel: up to 25% US
The annual base salary for this position is $85,600.00 - $107,000.00 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
