YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
- Cost Analysis and Identification of Opportunities:
- Conduct a detailed analysis of manufacturing processes, material usage, labor costs, and overhead expenses to identify areas for cost reduction.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to quantify costs and project potential savings.
- Developing and Implementing Cost Reduction Strategies:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, procurement, and quality assurance to develop and execute cost reduction strategies.
- Propose and implement process improvements, lean manufacturing techniques, and value engineering initiatives to optimize production costs.
- Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Evaluate existing suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, improve pricing agreements, and ensure high-quality inputs at reduced costs.
- Source alternative suppliers and materials to achieve cost savings while maintaining product standards.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to cost reduction and production efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to streamline workflows, eliminate waste, and enhance productivity.
- Quality Control and Assurance:
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that cost-saving measures do not compromise product quality, reliability, or compliance with regulatory standards.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports, presentations, and financial analyses to communicate cost reduction achievements, ongoing initiatives, and future opportunities to senior management.
U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing
