What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Procurement Buyer position at honeywell?
As a Senior Procurement Buyer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for all aspects related to the purchase of Direct and Indirect Capital purchases. You will be proficient with electronic purchasing systems, negotiating with suppliers, and analyzing total costs and will protect the Company's interests by reviewing and utilizing appropriate contract terms and conditions and contract templates. Negotiate directly with suppliers; complete in-depth price analyses, develop formal negotiation plans; and resolve exceptions to terms and conditions. The Buyer thoroughly understands and adheres to Honeywell sourcing policies/procedures and Code of Conduct. Effectively interacts with multiple departments at all levels of internal and external organizations and professionally resolves problems in a fair and ethical manner.
You will report directly to our Director of Strategic Sourcing, and you will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
