Asa Sr Procurement Buyer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managingand executing the organization's procurement and purchasing activities at astrategic level. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with theorganization's goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplierdiversity.
- Oversee and manage complex procurement projects from initiation tocompletion, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management,and delivery, ensuring project goals are met within scope, budget, andtimeline.
- Provide guidance to a team of procurement professionals, including buyers,purchasing agents, and coordinators, ensuring the successful execution ofprocurement projects.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct due diligence, andnegotiate terms to secure cost-effective and high-quality purchases.
- Monitor and control procurement costs, seek cost-saving opportunities,negotiate favorable terms, and optimize resource allocation.
- Foster and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and otherstakeholders to ensure a reliable and responsive supply chain, addressingconcerns and resolving issues.
- Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to relevant regulations,compliance standards, and internal policies, maintaining accurate and organizedrecords.
- Establish and enforce quality control standards in procurement processes,conducting regular inspections and performance assessments.
- Manage the procurement budget, allocate resources efficiently, and seekcost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Leverage technology solutions, such as procurement software and analytics, toenhance procurement processes, monitoring, and reporting.
