As a Sr. Program Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating externally focused projects within the Honeywell Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Project Execution organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of a wide range of projects, driving operational excellence, and delivering high-quality solutions to our customers. Your ability to collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams, define project objectives, and manage project timelines, budgets and risks will be crucial to the success of the organization. Project scope is typically sale of equipment (SOE) and services, requiring engineering, manufacturing, and provision of engineering and field advisory services to the Owner or EPC (Engineer, Procure, Construct) contractor. Equipment scope typically involves coil wound heat exchangers, cold boxes and other liquefaction equipment. You will report directly to our Program Manager and you'll work out of our Allentown, PA location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our projects and program objectives and will help lead the overall growth of the Honeywell LNG organization and business. Your expertise in project management and your ability to drive results will contribute to the achievement of our business goals and customer satisfaction. This role involves meaningful collaboration with the Customer during all phases of the project, entailing strong focus on preserving and enhancing Honeywell LNG’s reputation in this Customer-focused business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and execute projects within Honeywell LNG
- Define and fulfill project objectives and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Support the development of and manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful execution
- Monitor and direct project progress; identify and address any issues or risks that may arise
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns
- Provide clear customer communication and interaction guided by contractual terms
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project and program management processes and practices
