As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of quality engineers to ensure that our suppliers meet Honeywell's quality standards and strategy in the manufacture of components. You will be responsible for driving supplier performance improvement, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the highest level of quality in our supply chain.
You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Glendale, AZ location
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain by Source Inspections, implementing quality improvement initiatives, conducting supplier audits, and driving corrective actions to address quality issues. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve quality issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of quality engineers to ensure supplier compliance with quality standards
- Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives
- Conduct supplier audits to assess capabilities and identify areas for improvement
- Travel Approximately 50 %
- Monitor supplier quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
