Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of logistics and distribution operations
- Coordinate transportation methods and select cost-effective and efficient options
- Negotiate contracts with carriers and logistics service providers to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Streamline shipping and distribution processes to minimize lead times and reduce transportation costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries
- Implement data-driven strategies to optimize logistics operations and adapt to market demands
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of distribution processes
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain a competitive edge
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and logistics partners to ensure reliable service
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to management on cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Requirements:
- 3 years of proven experience in traffic and distribution management or related roles
- Strong familiarity with SAP
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices is a plus (hazmat, import/export, white glove, etc.)
