KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead efforts with the development teams to quantify residual product risk and identification of appropriate security controls.
- Be the subject matter expert and consultant for engineering on identifying and implementing product cybersecurity solutions
- Act as the consultant for external customers on cybersecurity and network security best practices for implementation of USDD products
- Develop cybersecurity plans and documentation for existing and new products and services
- Work with other Honeywell Building Technologies personnel on compliance with cybersecurity standards
- Implement security controls and processes to protect USDD and HBT deployed solutions and conduct routine security audits to ensure compliance.
- Support the customer experience and engineering teams in the identification of new IT security applications, qualification, and testing methods for systems used to provide remote access to customer systems.
- Maintain knowledge of current industry security standards such as IEC-62443, NERC CIP, and ISO 27000.
- Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical and engineering support
- Ensure security, high availability, and performance of USDD-maintained systems by diagnosing complex problems, tuning to improve performance, maintaining and supporting the underlying infrastructure, and monitoring of network and system intrusions.
- Develop effective working relationships with Honeywell’s other Cybersecurity Architects and engineering teams to enable broader solution knowledge.
- Requires approx. 10% travel.
