We are seeking a mid-level Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in the field of natural gas distribution (including piping systems), metering, and regulation located in Fort Washington, PA.
Key Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible to drive various aspects of product development activities including mechanical design, evaluation of new product opportunities, product validation activities, Value Engineering analysis, product certification activities, and development and execution of characterization testing. Other responsibilities will include creating and evaluating conceptual designs, technical analysis, working closely with manufacturing, and resolution of engineering problems in all aspects of the mechanical engineering discipline.
The successful candidate will work in a global environment and must be able to think globally, allowing for cultural, geographical and even time zone differences to ensure project goals and objectives meet business expectations. After COVID-19: Ability to travel to manufacturing site(s) in Ohio, Nebraska, and potentially Mexico. Infrequent 3-5 day trip.
