Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking an Advanced Project Engineer for our Albuquerque, NM location. In this role, you will lead project engineering efforts for cryogenic research and development projects, and will assist in developing new concepts, writing project proposals, and developing innovative technologies for future products.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE
- Working together with Program Managers, the Program Management Office, Principal Investigators, and the Leadership
- Team to drive project development, performance, and delivery
- Partnering with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives
- Communicating clearly and succinctly project status and risks, with timely information flow between team members
- Teaming with other disciplines to resolve complex and unforeseen problems
- Influencing and collaborating with internal and external partners to reach project landmarks
- Adapting working methods when unforeseen problems arise, or milestones change
- Managing requirements from elicitation, definition/capture, decomposition, allocation, prioritization, tracking, traceability, test mapping and derived identification.
- Analyzing and studying complex system requirements, and resolve conflicting customer requirements
- Understanding testing procedures for life-cycle development phase gates, identifying, and tracking design errors and defects
- Developing documentation required for both technical and training requirements
- Providing technical direction, coaching, and mentoring to project team members
- Coordinating equipment and material procurement
- Leading new project proposal estimation development and analysis
