We are looking for individuals who share our passion for Agile to join a select team of people on a mission to change the way Aerospace develops products. This is a high-visibility role which will expose candidates to a wide spectrum of stakeholders across all levels of the organization as we drive Agile transformation within Aerospace. The successful candidate will coach development teams through the initial deployment of Agile towards achieving the program benefits resulting from matured execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy the Honeywell Aerospace Agile methodology as a development framework for hardware and/or software development programs towards the Aero-wide adoption of Agile.
- Guide the deployment of Agile methodologies, acting as the Subject Matter Expert on Agile.
- Provide hands-on support to development teams, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
- Guide the implementation of Agile processes, principles, and practices for development programs by taking a hands-on approach.
- Conduct assessments of the maturity of the teams, provide feedback and guidance towards improvement.
- Integrate the Agile methodologies with as necessary with Honeywell program and development practices.
- Develop and conduct training on Agile principles, practices, and implementation at various levels in the organization, including development teams, supporting roles and management.
- Clarify key team roles (product owner, scrum master, core team members, shared services / supporting associates, Program Managers, PP&C).
- Support Aero-wide adoption of Agile methodologies, refinement of deployment strategy, fostering of Agile practices, and developing a self-sustaining execution and continuous improvement model.
- Guide initiation and planning ceremonies for globally distributed teams.
- Deploy relevant metrics, measures, and improvements.
- Support continuous improvement of Agile practices, including supporting communities of practice, the sharing good practices and identifying and overcoming / escalating barriers to efficient execution.
