Honeywell is a leading innovator in the development and production of high-performance and low global warming fluorocarbon refrigerants, thermal working fluids, foam blowing agents, aerosols and solvents. Our customers include original equipment manufacturers, service technicians, facility managers and consumers around the world.
The US Aftermarket business development manager will work with regulators and the industry to get 1234yf qualified for use to service 134a cars in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as FP’s ambassador in the global car maker engineering community via the Society of Engineers (SAE)
- Partner with SAE on potential research programs to evaluate the idea of introducing 1234yf refrigerant into the fleet market
- Establish an industry coalition that gets SNAP approval for the use of yf in 134a cars
- Work with all aftermarket stakeholders in the US to educate/train technicians on how to service 134a cars with yf
- Prepare engineering or technical information and documentation as needed to support implementation of 1234yf in the market
- Participate in conferences, industry events, meetings and networking
