Honeywell is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our work developing burner management and control systems. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation product by designing, testing and validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs. You will interact with internal and external customers to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Development of embedded hardware, including design, implementation, bug-fixing, documentation and validation for embedded system.
• Schematic capture, simulation and PCB layout to meet DFM requirements.
• Key components selection, concept design analysis according to product requirements
• Develop and execute product test plan, review and report test result and develop action plan
• Performs DFMEA design reviews and electrical design reviews
• Troubleshooting and fix all related issues on new development product
• EMC, EMI and safety strategy development
• Writes technical reports on results and conclusions drawn from experiments conducted and incorporates findings in formal specifications.
• Translates regulatory agency requirements into product designs by coordinating the activities of engineering, quality, manufacturing, and related organizations
• Participates in establishing operating procedures on new products and components.
• Originates, refines, and releases manufacturing or inspection work directions.
• Interacts with customers, design agency and/or supplier counterparts to resolve moderate to complex design, development, production and acceptance issues.
• Evaluates and implements innovations and technological advances that improve quality, reduce flowtime, improve productivity, and enhance operational surety.
• Interprets customer functional expectations and defines product requirements for future development activities
• Identifies product requirement or performance issues, works with program manager and design team to negotiate resolution
• Provides technical support and guidance for the resolution of various customer and interdepartmental needs on an as required basis
• Contribute to budget and resource planning
• May perform other duties as required.
• Ability to travel up to 10%
