The Senior Pricing Manager works closely with marketing and product management, engineering, field sales organization, key business partners and the senior management team, to maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers. You will manage the pricing strategies for current and future products. You will be the driver and architect for pricing structure across the global organization. You will deliver financial impact by deploying best-in-class marketing tools and framework. You will be part of the recruitment, development, and retention of talented professionals to deliver best in class performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the BMS pricing organization through pricing optimization projects and deploy pricing capabilities for the various lines of business, product families and regions
- Responsible for leadership and execution of end-to-end pricing strategy and serves as a primary project manager responsible for executing inflation mitigation actions
- Establish and lead global pricing structure, including pricing analytics, operations, and transformation
- Manage standard price platform and deal desk tool utilization and optimization, as well as global price analytics
- Drive and report monthly performance on value, transactional and pass-thru pricing
- Implement business analytics (reporting methodology, tools, and cadence) to support targeted outcomes
- Implement, track and report schedule of executive approval, discount management, price waterfall analysis, and target price metrics by product families, regions and customers
- Lead list price evaluation process and contract escalations
- Ensure globally consistent reporting and communication of pricing changes, deployments, and progress
- Take on ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
