Honeywell is currently recruiting for an HSE Engineer II to join the team in Columbia, MO.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Health, Safety and Environmental programs supporting Performance Materials and Technologies Columbia, MO facility. Partnering with cross-functional facility teams and leaders, you will provide support and assistance, as required, to our operational teams and conduct HSE-related activities to ensure regulatory and company requirement compliance.
You will interact with employees and supervisors to coach on HS&E issues. Influence plant personnel to improve HS&E standards through use of standard work, gembas, rapid problem solving, and visual management.
Position is responsible for:
· Implementation, monitoring and supporting plant HS&E programs/policies to ensure compliance with applicable HS&E guidelines, regulations, permits and standards.
· Conduct HS&E field assessments and audits
· Implements HSE standards
