This role supports Corporate Global Indirect Sourcing and PMT ISC/Procurement leadership by driving an MOS for spend/volume controls, sourcing process excellence, data analytics, program/project management, key initiatives, and special projects to enable PMT to exceed goals for Productivity, Working Capital and spend control/execution. This position will report directly to the PMT CPO with Matrix reporting to Corp Global Indirect Sourcing
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with PMT Finance to drive laser focus on driving spend consumption controls/budget accountability in GBE’s/sites
• Champion Business alignment & stakeholder engagement for key projects/initiatives to optimize value for the business
• Indirect Sourcing liaison/representative embedded into PMT ISC/Procurement MOS
• Develop and drive austerity measures where applicable for budget optimization
• Partner with PMT Finance to review Purchase Requisition dashboard and scrutinize upcoming purchases
• Lead/support & coordinate stakeholder engagement for supplier Kaizen’s (BAE) to drive incremental value to the business
• Communicate and enforce usage of preferred suppliers and associated category strategies into SBG sites
• Partner with PMT Finance to analyze monthly Indirect spend reports and identify areas of opportunity/action for spend consumption and/or Indirect Sourcing
• Ambassador for ensuring compliance to Indirect Sourcing Policies (i.e. Contingent Workforce Policy, Competitive Bidding, Early Sourcing Engagement)
• Drive standardization and change leadership on consumption, processes, tools, systems at SBG level
• Provide leadership to sites and business teams to build projects pipeline and implementation
• Proactive engagement with PMT Finance/GBE’s to develop AOP in conjunction with Global Indirect Sourcing strategy
• Aid Global Indirect Sourcing in enforcing programs, guidelines for category strategies and procurement policies are flowed down to the businesses
• Fully understand business objectives/priorities and ensure alignment within Global Indirect Sourcing Category Strategies
• Support all mergers/acquisition activities (project management, communications, reporting) for Indirect. Liaise with SBG M&A leaders, CPOs, and Indirect Leadership to drive execution and M&A sourcing objectives
• Active participant in SBG/GBE monthly spend/procurement reviews and identify areas of improvement to drive incremental business results
• Special Projects: Primary focal and project manager for key sourcing projects and initiatives
• Support PMT specific ad hoc reporting needs (Savings/AWPOT/project pipelines)
