Honeywell Engineering Test Services is seeking an experienced test technician with related vibration & structural test support experience for its Phoenix Dynamic Test Laboratory. This position provides day-to-day support to the engineering staff in a wide variety of test operations. Primary responsibilities include execution of various tests and/or support tasks including vibration, structural, scanning laser vibrometry, and acoustic ring signature tests as directed through the engineering staff.
We are seeking a qualified test technician with a broad skills base who would be expected to assist with a variety of static and dynamic tests with good communication and mechanical skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting in a variety of roles. The outstanding candidate would have hands-on experience with a broad range of instrumentation, transducers and support equipment including:
Candidate should have the ability to interpret mechanical drawings, follow test procedures, complete and maintain detailed test documentation while working safely in a physically demanding environment. Should have the ability to successfully configure, validate, and troubleshoot test configurations and their data with minimum supervision.
