Achieves successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help of Engineering teams. You will make improvements to training guides and documentation. You will achieve continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix any technical difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. You will represent Honeywell at industry conferences and provide technical presentations.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Adheres to all Honeywell and customer safety standards. Provides safety leadership and instruction to all Technicians. Provides safety awareness and instruction to subcontractors on work sites.
- Serve as a point of contact on technical issues and provide on-the-job training for other technicians. Meets regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems.
- Keep customers informed on the nature of service provided outstanding issues and recommends appropriate system enhancements, upgrades, and or repairs.
- Provides consultant level services for customers related to building system and enhancements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues.
- Assist management with assuring proper field operational of other technicians are followed.
- Regularly provides input on development and training needs.
- Assist in the development and submittal of quotes and estimates for identified work to the Customers, Managers or Customer Service Agents
- Assist with the identification of material needs required for install delivery.
- Assist the Project Manager or Customer Service Agent with identifying and scheduling individuals
- Communicate with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
- Conducts self-study (reading, research, and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency, including completing all training and certifications as required by industry standards.
- Ability to service required areas with overnight travel 10-20% of the time.
