Summary of Duties:
- Function as a liaison between management and the buying staff, and provide leadership within each managerial unit in the implementation of Procurement practices in support of achieving goals and objectives, specifically related to supplier management, the proper management of Procurement metrics, and compliance to DOE/NNSA requirements and federal contracting regulations
- Provides training, coaching, and oversight of buyers, and partners with other Lead Buyers to develop and implement initiatives to improve

- Supports Strategic Sourcing Team in the development and implementation of specific departmental sourcing strategies
