Establish and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business Leadership for your assigned commodity / category and/or region as per Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan. You will have site responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve lowest Total Cost for your site, reduced Working capital via Negotiation planning and execution, High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination. You will manage Supplier Performance to support your commodity/category and/or region and ensure supply continuity. You will be managing several projects in dynamic environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export /Import regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and drive procurement of material and services of assigned commodities. Specific to this Requisition HRD167485 the assigned commodity is Software.
- Drive and execute Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan with supporting strategies
- Develop Commodity Strategy to support short, mid to long term Honeywell AOP
- Align with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance and Quality and Other Honeywell Businesses on strategies to support AOP
- Right and fast execution of strategies to align with business growth and new product introductions plan
- Manage Commodity Strategies including Spend Analysis, Benchmarking, Cost and Market Analysis and Global Technology / Economic trends
- Manage Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, Contracting and Supplier Performance (OTTR and PPM) processes
- Research software suppliers to find optimal cost-effective solutions to support SPS global business enterprises.
- Working with Engineering, Offering Management and Legal to negotiate and execute strategic supply/service agreements (SSA), statement of work (SOW) and non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with global software and professional service suppliers in support of new product introduction (NPI) and engineering proof of concepts (POC).
- Lifecycle management of all assigned software contracts in global contract lifecycle management (CLM) system.
- Lead contract negotiation from initiation to implementation to meet Honeywell requirements
- Reduce single and sole source suppliers to reduce supply chain risk
- Ensure relationship development and management of key suppliers
- Lead negotiation with suppliers for annual cost reduction and identify/drive cost reduction projects to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Improve Working Capital thru Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories Inventory and Lead time reductions
- Understand and lead supplier selection/transitions and identify/develop/grow preferred supply base to support Commodity Strategy
- Assist in Site Tactical Procurement escalations, reconciliations and reporting as required
