Job Description:
Performs multiple functions to ensure IT Linux
infrastructure is available, reliable, and stable either individually or under
the guidance of experienced personnel. This includes the evaluation, selection, installation, and maintenance
of operating systems software and hardware. Monitoring the systems and serving as a focal point for support is also
done routinely. Support is generally for medium to large scale systems of high
criticality to the business. Planning
for the future by setting direction and documenting direction for their
specific area of responsibility for the information systems infrastructure is
expected. Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in
accordance with established HS&E requirements.
