Primary responsibility will be to work with and support the LST business group to deliver on business commitments, handling all logistics functions (end-to-end). The LST Logistics Analyst will partner with Manufacturing, Sourcing, I.T, SIOP, Finance, Global Customer Care and Sales to provide a transport strategy that meets the needs of manufacturing, sales, and customers while sustaining growth and productivity in the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Arrange inbound and outbound transportation of UOP products based on requirements of quotes, SAP customer purchase orders, letters of credit and other documents.
· Create deliveries, process invoices, enter and update shipment data within SAP.
· Provide Logistics direction and support for:
- Transitions,
- SAP deployments,
- Productivity Projects, such as 4PL and freight payment programs.
- Develop strong and effective relationships with supplier, transportation providers and key warehouse/distribution 3PL organizations.
· Compliance with hazardous shipping regulation under IATA, IMO and DOT.
· Compliance with U.S. import and export regulations and specific country requirements of each destination.
· Preparation of international documentation for clearance of goods such as invoices, packing lists certificates of origin.
· Preparations of international documentation for export such as export declaration, shipper’s letter of instruction, inland bill of lading and IMO’s.
· Selection of carriers and coordination with Honeywell or customer carriers based on service level, pricing and timing requirements.
· Monitor and report logistics transportation activity and productivity updates relative to projects in the relevant tracking system.
