Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production, and quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities
· Ability to setup and complete drilling, taping, counter boring, counter sinking, sanding, de-burring, with minimum supervision.
· Ability to operate some or all the following equipment: Drill presses, hand mills, hand lathes, and sanders
· With supervision, be able to operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and Punch Press
· Must be able to tap, countersink, counter bore, and de-burr with respect to drill presses, hand mills, CNC Mills, Lathes, hand lathes and Punch Press
· Must be proficient in the use of calipers, mics, depth mics, and eye gages
· May train new employees in job duties and responsibilities; may assist employee with questions, problems, and interpretation of specification, routers, blueprints, inspection equipment and other documents
· Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments
· Works in production, manufacturing, or fabrication area where exposure to sophisticated machinery is common
· Requires fundamental editing and programming knowledge of CNC machines and lathes
