Honeywell’s Colonial Heights facility manufactures high performance polyethylene fiber that’s used in a variety of applications including ballistic protection, industrial rope, and cut resistance.
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to work at our Colonial Heights, VA facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving plant targets for SQDIC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost) for assigned production assets
- Identifying and prioritizing maintenance needs with input from Operations and Engineering
- Manages all SAP priority notifications and plans accordingly all detailed job scopes and assignments.
- Creates work orders from approved notifications within a maximum of five working days
- Performs a detailed job scope for all routine repairs or preventive maintenance work orders
- Procures necessary tools, materials, and outside services required for all maintenance work
- Issues purchase requisitions to ensure on time delivery of OEM Materials
- Walks down all maintenance work orders prior to execution with the Operations Coordinator and Maintenance Foreman to ensure that all parts, shared services, and safety issues have been addressed prior to scheduling the work
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating external contractors
- Responsible for forecasting Maintenance costs and communicating accruals as needed to finance
