Honeywell currently has an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright in our Colonial Heights, VA facility.
Responsibilities include:
· Successfully create parts from a blueprint, manufacturing operations and tooling instructions, or engineering instructions.
· Set-up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, etc., to very close tolerances
· Use micrometers/other measuring instruments in order to perform quality control checks on parts in- process and upon completion
· Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner
· Recommend changes to processes or procedures to improve quality and productivity
· Exercise care and safe work practices.
Pay rate to start is $37.52 and can go as high as level of level 5 Will go up to $44.57 at level 5
