This role will support global Product Marketing strategies and positioning for industrial data and analytics software products which address manufacturing operations management. This role will play a key role in executing the long-term strategy and enabling the product roadmap. Bring your creativity to bridge from our Product Management team to our Customer Marketing team on content topics: digital events such as webinars and podcasts, long form assets like white papers and eBooks, or empowering sales with playbooks and battlecards. Develop differentiation strategies to clearly distinguish our unique domain expertise and products against new and legacy industry competitors. Collaboration is key as you will partner across the organization to accomplish growth goals. You will engage with product managers and directors in your assigned product line, plus marketing communications and digital marketing specialists, sales leaders, and strategy managers. Your work will include NPIs/product launches and supporting campaigns and events that help us grow in process industries like Oil and Gas, Chemical and Mining.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead product marketing for software products in the data, analytics, and manufacturing operations management areas
- Support and coordinate industry marketing initiatives
- Understand the market & investigate options, including segmentation, targeting, and positioning
- Co-develop competitive intelligence for product lines, with strategic analysis team and other market research resources across Honeywell
- Be 100% customer-centric – Understand the industrial buyer persona(s) and their journey for your assigned product line; drive customer feedback to product roadmap owners
- Create and manage assigned product line’s Value Proposition plus individual product value props
- Consult with field Sales in HCI and other Honeywell entities on growth initiatives, ABM, and field sales training
- Work with Customer Marketing function to Co-develop and execute marketing plans on themes and verticals that support your assigned product line.
- Own and coordinate the market launch of products, following the Z21 approach to grow demand and results quickly -- heavily aligning and collaborating with product management, customer marketing, and sales
- Align with stakeholders to create effective pricing & packaging strategies for our offering
- Support customer advisory board (CAB) activities and content
- Support Analyst Relations with strategy function & provide materials as needed; work closely with customer marketing to support promotional activities of awards.
- Team with Customer Marketing function:
- Ensure aligned messaging, inbound and outbound marketing tactics in campaigns.
- Collaborate on content development with creative services, event management, digital marketing, PR.
- Translate product positioning into content such as digital events, long form collateral, and sales tools.
