A position has been created in the Corporate ISC Planning Center of Excellence team (PCOE) for an ambitious Supply Chain Professional. You will report to the Senior Director of Production and Materials Planning and not only will you learn from the best, you will have the opportunity to carve out a space for yourself to show your capabilities and strengths and play an instrumental role in the success of the company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the centralized multi-business units’ oversight of production planning, capacity planning and material planning. This entails a detailed understanding of production planning considering capacity and constraints of manufacturing against the demand and supply forecast to ensure adequate materials, labor, and capacity for production are maintained. The role will be dedicated to implementing Corp policies and procedures within the Business Units (BU’s) and driving the adoption of RapidResponse for Production and Materials Planning.
The objective is to ensure an integrated approach in material flow and production planning within the BU’s. Responsible for the strategic value stream functions of supply chain as it pertains to incoming & outgoing materials management including planning activities for production (i.e. material planning, production planning, labor planning, rebalancing, FIFO, procurement while considering capacity and constraints of manufacturing) by assigning standard work with achievement targets and clear action plans.
The position requires the ability to understand the metrics which drive the department and how to influence metric improvement for effective material movement and delivery. This will require you to interpret data then develop and implement corrective actions, recommendations for change or to drive new strategies accordingly. Will work with and influence the business and Site Planning teams to drive change. Must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals as well as ensure the value chain has the required materials to create a competitive advantage of the product portfolio. Focusing on building a world-class team, driving continuous improvement activities and achievement of superior planning performance across all Production and Materials Planning Metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of World Class Constrained Production, Labor, & Materials Planning Management system and methodologies across Honeywell Corporate Wide
- Implement Planning System of Record owning the Production & Materials Planning across $36B Annual Revenue, 35 business units and 250 sites.
- Serve as Production & Materials Planning Subject Matter Expert on the Corporate COE, co-developing Supply Chain Academy content and leading regular process audits, educational boot camps, and online Module
- Continuously develop and improve Production & Materials Planning, increasing automated and integrated solutions tailored to specific lines of business.
- Drive standard org and process rigor and constructive tension and accountability, standardized as much as possible via R&R and Org alignment, customized where necessary
- Drive & measure Constrained MPS process utilization and effectiveness, Labor and capacity utilization, and opportunities to drive plant & commodity specific improvements.
- Collaborate with procurement to implement standardized commodity planning techniques, increase supplier collaboration, and implement optimized collaboration portals to communicate forecast and capture supply commits
- Support VMI implementation through Materials Planning expertise and ownership
