Position Overview:
This is a R&D Engineer/Scientist role for
leading or supporting new product development and productivity improvement
projects for Honeywell’s Advanced Materials. The position will be based in Pottsville PA, USA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Polymer process/product development projects - conversion of PCTFE polymer to film/blister, bottles, vials and developing applications.
Coordinate support of PCTFE value chain projects - validation of conversion to and performance in films, bottles and other applications.
Coordinate R&D support for Pottsville plant process improvement and/or trouble shooting.
Contribute to intellectual property developments for polymer processes and applications.
Develop and maintain broad understanding of polymer processing commercial and academic development Intellectual property landscape.
