Be responsible for providing technical expertise on a variety of projects and programs. As a Sr. Advanced Engineer in the Fan, Compressor and Combustor design group, you will use your expert knowledge of engineering discipline and standards, processes and tools to support our production manufacturing and supplier transition projects. You will be responsible for helping to lead our hardware MRB and supplier transition activities while helping to support process improvement projects. You are the point of contact for manufacturing and will help to develop and define engineering processes in your area of expertise. You may participate in development of new business opportunities and product lines.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate MRB/MRO activities for Fan, Compressor and Combustor hardware
· Evaluate and disposition discrepant hardware and report findings / recommendations
· Coordinate supplier transition activities and establish supplier capability
· CFD Analysis (ANSYS CFX preferred)
· Thermal & Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS Workbench preferred)
· Technical resolution
· Manufacturing and installation
