In this role, you will be part of the team in Honeywell Aerospace that is responsible for the design and analysis for rotordynamics, engine dynamics, and design and analysis of bearings, gears, splines, seals, and lubrication systems. You will be a seal engineer (for oil seals like carbon face seals, segmented ring seals, liftoff seals) and a lubrication system engineer designing engine lubrication systems and defining component requirements. The scope of this position includes solving complex problems using state-of-the-art software tools and methods for newly proposed and existing products while simultaneously supporting Technical Excellence Teams to capture and publish analysis practices and guidelines. Typical responsibilities involve leading design, development, and test activities including operation, data collection, and analysis. Results will be presented in design reviews and documented to meet program deliverables and requirements. Must be able to lead component design and analysis engineers while working effectively with design teams, project engineers, global support, chief engineers, and customers.
