This is an exciting time to join Sensing Guidance and Navigation Center Of Excellence engineering team as we develop new inertial products used on many versatile platforms varying from planes, trains, automobiles, tanks, boats to satellites and satellite launch vehicles.
You will lead engineering tasks as part of cross-functional team on new product development projects responsible for concept architecture, requirements definition, design, analysis, and test. The specifics of this role are focused on ensuring the hardware design, analysis and test of inertial sensors products over a wide range of operational environments for Defense Surface customers, while beating the project cost, schedule, and technical goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading proposals and developing estimates for system hardware and software development
- Develop Schedule and Milestones for design tasks
- Clearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages via presentations and in writing to a variety of audiences including leadership and external customers
- Consult with suppliers to ensure product and project compliance
- Measuring project cost and schedule performance by using Earn Value Management
- Monitoring and helping project team members to meet project commitments
- Identify and execute cost, schedule, and technical efficiency improvements
- Risk and Opportunity development and management
- Execute project subtasks (architecture, requirement definition, circuit design, layout review, analysis, and test, etc.) by following established engineering methodologies for new hardware development
- Travel within US and/ or internationally: 10%
