This Senior Communications Specialist role within Corporate Communications’ Internal Communications group will help drive robust content development to sustain enterprise channels, propel key team strategic initiatives and campaigns, and support at least two corporate business functions. In addition, this role carries with it select other responsibilities, including crisis communication project work, communications analytics compilation and analysis, and other special assignments.
The individual in this role will regularly contribute to and often lead the production of content for flagship enterprise channels, including e-bulletins, videocasts, town hall meetings, newsletters, and the intranet. The work to support business functions entails delivering sound and timely communications counsel to internal partners, including senior executives; message strategy and development; and content distribution across several channels. The individual in this role will be expected to independently lead significant internal and external communications projects – for example, the writing, editing and management of key annual publications and messages – building support among key influencers and partners in the process. Finally, this contributor will play a key supporting role in preparing leaders and producing content for high-profile internal events, including the quarterly Global Town Meeting all-hands event and annual Honeywell Senior Leadership Meeting.
Like all members of the Corporate Communications function, this individual will be expected to track, analyze, and leverage analytics to improve the quality and strategic direction of message design and delivery.
This successful candidate will be able to work independently and, in a team, take initiative, and effectively interact with all levels of the organization. This individual will be a skilled business writer who consistently crafts messaging with creativity and economy, and who can work across digital multimedia platforms to produce articles, mass emails, blogs, videos, podcasts, and simple and compelling infographics.
