Join the Cyber Systems Engineering and Architecture group within the Defense and Space Electronics organization. You will work with a team of experienced engineers to analyze various electronics products, test stations, or future design concepts and apply engineering logic to reduce the risk of cyber attacks and/or cyber exploitation. You will be responsible for the development, test, and qualification of products, and learn how to apply engineering and entrepreneurship concepts to a rapidly growing new business sector. Your tasks will include critical thinking, engineering analysis, verbal and written presentations, security support and consultation, documentation, and recommendation of solutions to customers. You will be an active member of an engineering team driving technical solutions that meet key program milestones and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborating with customers to determine cyber engineering/security needs
· Deriving and providing the above-mentioned requirements to various engineering disciplines
· Becoming a Subject Matter Expert and Cyber focal for programs assigned or requested
· Performing cyber analyses per contact requirements
· Designing and developing next generation devices and/or cyber system architectures
· Presenting cyber concepts, findings, and recommended solutions to customers
· Reviewing designs and providing recommendations to improve test equipment
· Developing cost and labor estimates to address contract cyber requirements and efforts
