Key Responsibilities
· Experience in NPI / NPE Product Design life cycle environment (Agile will be bonus)
· Sound knowledge about high speed microprocessors, architectural circuit design and different micro-controller circuit designs
· Excellent knowledge in using different type of sensors and interfaces with Microcontroller/Processors
- PCB materials, fabrications process and assembly/manufacturing knowledge. Develop hardware products and systems and Electrical and Electronic PCB design in line with HON architecture framework and simulate analog and digital circuits
· Leading and Performing Signal integrity analysis
· Excellent Digital design skills and having a good understanding different communications UART, RS422, RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, Ethernet TCP/IP.
· Generating technical documentation from marketing requirements Release Trains
· Estimating hardware design tasks, identifying risks and planning development
· Develop quick POCs
· Assist and support Mech and EE CAD teams or design team in schematic designs and PCB layout developments.
· Coordinate with software teams on designs and development of products and systems.
· Work with software teams on system integrations and testing (Verification, Systems Validations, Connectivity analysis)
· Research, evaluate, develop and apply new processes to products and applications.
· Co-ordinate with ISC/Manufacturing and setup production and test setups (FCT, ICT and EOL)
· Hardware system debugging, simulations, hardware test automation, product certifications
· Using CRO, LA, function generator, protocol analyzers
· EMI/EMC simulations, Environmental and Safety testing and analysis
· Design for Manufacturability and test Knowledge
· Thermal testing of hardware and product reliability analysis
· Troubleshoot Field Issues and work with propose solution to fix the issue in HW and coordinate with software teams to manage the issues by workaround, US/new design, alternate components etc
