The Salt Lake City Site Leader provides strategic and tactical direction for the plant and related integrated supply chain activities in alignment with business strategy. Develop and execute strategies for increased customer satisfaction, safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, working capital management, and effectively introduce new products/processes for growth. You will oversee and promote effective Health, Safety and Environmental programs and practices, ensuring that high standards of site safety are established, met, and that facilities and grounds are maintained in accordance with relevant regulations, agency standards and fiscal considerations. Develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan. Direct responsibility for departmental spend and managing budget. Drive site to achieve/surpass customer and financial commitments. Provide customer interface and support as required; using customer feedback to improve quality and delivery while driving process and yield improvement.
Key Responsibilities
•Drive a safety and continuous improvement culture, deploying Honeywell Accelerator initiatives based on Six-Sigma & Lean principles
•Establish and implement standard manufacturing and material management practice
•People management, ensure PER (positive employee relationship)
•Ensure customer satisfaction by achieving the required level of quality performance
•Foster employee engagement, coaching and mentoring of the key talent
•Drive SQDIC performance of the plant (safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost)
•Identify and run productivity improvement projects at site level
•Interact with business partners to identify and support / implement growth projects
•Manage inventories to achieve working capital goals
•Integrate key elements of Supply Chain Management and work on improving cycle times, lead times, throughput
•Manage capacity/schedules to achieve On Time Delivery, growth, and productivity goals.
•Create a lean culture with engagement at all levels
•Improve and develop organizational capabilities through effective performance management
•Planning/utilization of human and capital resources.
•Drive culture change, accountability, and continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization
