This critical global finance role provides financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis for the Lifecycle Solutions & Services (LSS) line of business with Honeywell Process Solutions. This Senior Finance Analyst position involves frequent interaction and coordination with various business partners & stakeholders across finance and non-finance functions including leading and contributing to multiple improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and manage Advanced Materials re-investment ratio as a free cash flow lever, understanding the amount, optimal construction of, and trade-offs of Capex spending across the company’s GBE’s (Global Business Entities) and the variety of investment choices therein (growth capital vs maintenance vs HSE vs cost out & productivity).
- Provide improved analytics on Capital Expenditure (Capex) spend during project execution (on time / on budget) and post launch ROI (return on investment). Of special importance as Advanced Material’s embarks on a more significant investment cycle to expand its unit volume capacity in 2022 across multiple GBE’s.
- Create & provide ongoing governance for project financials, both as it relates to model consistency across a variety of different project types (investments, Capex, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), etc.) and inputs (e.g. time span, discount / hurdle rates, tax rates, income translation to cash, etc.).
- Accountability for NPI / BTI post launch tracking and providing ongoing analysis on project ‘Say/Do’ vs the originally expected financial benefits & ROI (return on investment).
- Collaborate with GBE and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analytics) teams to ensure short- and medium-term forecasting models are informative and incorporate improvements in metric gathering to optimize accuracy
- Expand forecasting analytics capabilities and further develop business intelligence strategy with the goal of driving speed, quality, and cost efficiency for the LOB in partnership with the leadership team.
