The Senior Finance Manager - Transformation plays an important role in shaping the future of the finance function within HBT, catalyzing the integration of newly deployed planning, forecasting, and reporting tools into core business processes, enabling Finance and Business leaders to make better decisions, faster.
The role partners with the HBT Finance Transformation leader as well as HBT BAP, HQ and GBE Finance teams across HBT to drive execution on high priority & high visibility Transformation initiatives including deployment of the Enterprise Data Warehouse, continuous improvement of automated forecasting, and streamlined financial planning.
Project Management and Change Management skills are highly valued, as well as experience working in Tableau (or other data visualization tools), Hyperion Planning and SAP. The successful candidate will quickly come up the learning curve to build understanding of key financial and operational processes, ask provocative questions to challenge the status quo, build productive relationships with project stakeholders, develop and execute effective project plans, managing multiple priorities, driving accountability, and readily adapting as necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with GBE and functional stakeholders to understand process gaps and improvement needs where Transformation efforts can be most impactful
- Engage with HON Enterprise Finance Transformation leaders to benchmark and leverage best practices
- Develop process documentation and visuals leveraging contemporary tools and techniques to help identify deficiencies and ensure robust future states
- Partner with GBE, Region, Function, and HQ Finance teams to drive continuous ideation around new Transformation projects
- Drive execution and project management for Transformation initiatives owned by HBT HQ BAP
- Partner with Transformation leader to define Program Roadmap and measure performance relative to goals across HBT initiatives
- Ensure proactive communication between project and development teams including IT and Data architects
- Review project improvements
- Gain project sponsorship
