A position has opened at Honeywell for an
ambitious Supply/Inventory Planning Professional. You will report to the
Director and Sr. Director of Supply Planning with the opportunity to develop
and demonstrate your planning skills and play an instrumental role in the
success of the company.
As an Inventory Planning Principle, you will be
responsible for developing, coordinating, and aligning the inventory plans for
your assigned business. You will support your Director and Sr. Director of
Supply to execute the vision and goals for your inventory Planning
function.
You will partner with the COE team as the SME
for your business to drive standard processes and ensure adherence to the
Honeywell Global Design Model for Supply/Inventory Planning and ensuring the
full utilization of the Kinaxis RapidResponse planning tool within your
business.
You will lead the monthly planning cycle and
ensure finished goods supply and inventory plans achieve maximum customer
satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within the business goals.
You will support and drive a positive working
environment and culture of continuous improvement throughout your organization
to achieve the best possible outcome from the supply/inventory planning teams.
You will support the development of the supply/inventory planning teams through
training, coaching and mentoring to increase their skills and capability in
readiness for internal progression and succession.
You will be closely involved in product
lifecycle events and transitions to ensure the network supply strategy delivers
on the product portfolio vitality goals. You will attend monthly SIOP meetings
to approve the supply plans and to present these and the associated risks and
mitigating plans to the Business leadership in the Reconciliation and Exec meetings.
The successful candidate must be capable of
translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals
and create a competitive advantage of the product portfolio. Focusing on
building a world-class team, utilizing and deploying Lean Six Sigma techniques,
driving continuous improvement activities and achievement of superior
performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).

Key Responsibilities
- Communicating the Vision & Driving Strategy for Inventory Planning and Execution
- Driving Transformation initiative and deployment of the Honeywell GDM and tool adoption
- Build a culture of highly skilled and talented professionals in preparation for progression within Honeywell
- Setting Policies around Service Level segmentation for each business and site in your division
- Drive processes to ensure adherence to ordering policies to meet inventory turns
- Manage and lead quarterly Inventory entitlement process, ensure all sites and businesses and optimum level of inventories, PFEP
- Actively manage relationships with procurement, planning and production
- Monitor supply and demand imbalances and communication/escalate
- Utilizing Lean and Six Sigma techniques to rapid problem solve issues that impact metrics to drive continuous improvement actions that lead to world class performance
- Close involvement with Prod Marketing for NPI/EOL/Promotion/Projects/PLC and detailed involvement in transition execution
- Manage the monthly Inventory Plan, estimates and results for your network sites
- Attending Other SIOP/S&OP meetings to ensure alignment with key metrics
- Presenting Inventory Plans and Scenarios in the Reconciliation and EXEC SIOP/S&OP meeting
